Orange on the rocks

This week, X2 EU completes the construction of a 'floating wall' of an office building in Emmen.

The wall is designed by Möhn + Bouman architects and made of corten steel, with a total weight of 2,500 kilo.

Soon, the corten steel will be uniformly corroded. The rainwater, mixed with rust, will be drained by a gutter and ends up at a massive rock. This will gradually get an orange color, so the name of the company, 'Orangerock', will be accentuated.
