Call of the Bubble Blower

Surprising, cheerful and versatile. That is the Bubble Blower in Roombeek. The artwork of Dorien Boekhout and Paul Klotz stands as a marking and meeting point in front of the service center Prismare. Tuesday evening is the unveiling. The public and some blowers are blowing bubbles. Lots of bubbles. Guests knot a heartfelt wish on a balloon, which they then let go. Nine choirs affiliated with Prismare, sing the 'soap-rap', expecially written for this unveiling by Bert Kuiper. Until early August, there is an exhibition of paintings of people from 'North' about the Bubble Blower. |
